After the End of the World: art, imagination and temporal scales in the Anthropocene.

José Luis de Vicente is a curator, writer and researcher specializing in the analysis of existing cultural spaces between technology, social innovation, art and design. He is the curator of Sónar + D, the innovation area of the Sónar festival (Barcelona) and is a member of the curatorial team of the FutureEverything Festival (Manchester). He has directed the Visualizar program of Medialab Prado, and curated multiple exhibitions, such as «Machines and Souls» (2008, Reina Sofia National Museum of Art Center), «Arcadia» and «Habitar» (2009, 2010 Labor Center of Art), « Invisible Fields »(2011, Arts Santa Mònica),« Playtime: Game Mythologies »(2012, Maison d’Ailleurs) and« Big Bang Data »(2014-2017, CCCB, Barcelona, Fundación Telefónica, Madrid). Currently, his latest exhibition, “After the End of the World”, can be seen at the CCCB in Barcelona.
